Terms of service
Last updated 10 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Muhammad Ans Bin Najeeb, a sole trader trading as Nimbus (“we”, “us”) for using Nimbus. By creating an account, you agree to them. Please also read our privacy policy.
1. Your account
- You must be at least 13 to use Nimbus, and at least 18 — or have a parent or guardian's permission — to buy a subscription.
- Keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
- Give us a real email address, so you can reset your password if you need to.
2. Plans and payment
- The free plan lets you chat in groups. Asking Nimbus and its other AI features need a paid plan.
- Paid plans renew every month until you cancel. Each plan gives you a daily allowance of Nimbus that refills at midnight UK time; unused allowance doesn't carry over.
- You can change or cancel your plan at any time from Account → Manage subscription. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Your right to cancel: UK consumer law gives you 14 days to cancel a new subscription. Because Nimbus is a digital service you can use straight away, if you start using your paid allowance during those 14 days, we may deduct a fair amount for what you've used from any refund.
- Top-ups are one-off packs of extra Nimbus for members, used only once your daily allowance runs out. A top-up lasts 12 months from your most recent one; any credit left after that expires. Credit can't be exchanged for cash or moved to someone else, and it can't be used without an active plan.
- Your right to cancel a top-up: you can cancel within 14 days for a refund of any credit you haven't used. Once you've used it, you agree the credit you've used is supplied and can't be refunded.
- Gifts are a one-off payment for someone else's plan, for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months, at the normal monthly price. You get a link to send; whoever opens it first and signs in can claim it, so only share it with the person it's for. A gift doesn't renew. If the person already has a paid plan, the gift starts when their own plan ends. Gifts can't be exchanged for cash.
- Your right to cancel a gift: you can cancel within 14 days for a full refund if the gift hasn't been claimed yet. Once it's been claimed, it can't be refunded.
- We may change prices. We'll tell you at least 30 days in advance, and you can cancel before the change takes effect.
3. What you can't do
Don't use Nimbus to:
- break the law, or help anyone else break it;
- harass, bully, threaten or abuse anyone, or share hateful content;
- share sexual content involving anyone under 18 — we report this to the authorities;
- share other people's private information without their permission;
- publish pages for scams, phishing, malware or deceiving people;
- infringe other people's copyright or other rights;
- try to break, overload or get around the limits of Nimbus, or access accounts or groups that aren't yours.
Anyone can report content that breaks these rules, and we may remove it.
4. Your content
- What you post is yours. You give us permission to store it, show it to the members of your groups, process it to provide Nimbus's features (including sending it to our AI provider when someone asks Nimbus something), and show published pages to anyone with the link.
- Members of a group can see everything posted in it, and Nimbus can read the group's messages, memory, library and docs when answering.
- You're responsible for what you post and publish, and for having the right to share it.
- Sharing to the Community: when you share something to the Community, everyone using Nimbus can see it, and you give other Nimbus members permission to make their own copies and change them (“remix”) within Nimbus. Only share things you made or have the right to share. You can remove your post at any time, but copies others have already remixed stay with them.
5. About Nimbus's AI
- Nimbus's answers are generated by AI. They can be wrong, out of date or incomplete, and they aren't professional advice — legal, medical, financial or otherwise. Check anything important.
- Things Nimbus builds — websites, games, tools — are provided as they are. Test them before relying on them.
6. Suspending or closing accounts
- You can delete your account at any time from Account → Delete account.
- We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you why first. If we close a paid account for no fault of yours, we'll refund the unused part of your subscription.
7. Our responsibility to you
- We work hard to keep Nimbus running, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors.
- We aren't responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, for business losses, or for content posted by other people.
- Apart from that, if we're responsible for a loss, our liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before it happened.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud — and nothing affects your legal rights as a consumer.
8. Changes to Nimbus and these terms
We may update Nimbus and these terms. If a change to the terms matters, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you don't agree, you can stop using Nimbus and cancel your subscription.
9. The law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
